It is officially hurricane season and hurricane preparation is a priority for both homeowners and renters in the state of Florida. Gov. Rick Scott is stressing the importance of getting necessary supplies before a storm is off our coast. This weekend, June 2nd thru June 4th, marks the first ever disaster preparedness sales tax holiday in which certain hurricane supplies will be tax-free.
