24th Grand Slam KDW in Memory of Richard Black

 

It’s almost time for the 24^th Annual Grand Slam KDW Tournament and Hughes Realty Group, Inc. is proud to be back as a supporting sponsor. This is a fun and exciting family event when locals gather to compete for the greatest catch in several categories.

 

The Captain’s Kick-Off Party & Meeting will be held Friday, May 10, 2019, at the Riverwalk Events Plaza in Jupiter. The celebration is from 5:30 until 8:30 pm with the meeting beginning promptly at 7 pm. The one-day tournament is Saturday, May 11^th with lines in at 7 am and lines out at 3:30 pm. Two weigh stations will be available from 1 pm until 4:30 pm - the Square Grouper Tiki Bar in Jupiter and Sailfish Marina Resort in Palm Beach Shores. The Awards Party and BBQ is held Saturday from 5 until 9 pm at the Riverwalk Events Plaza in Jupiter. All winners will be announced and prizes awarded during the event.

 

Male Angler $5,000 • Female Angler $5,000.

 

1st Place $2,000 • 2nd Place $1,500.

 

3rd Place $1,000 • 4th Place $500.

 

5th Place $250 • 6th Place $100.

 

1st Place $500 • 2nd Place $400.

 

3rd Place $300 • 4th Place $200.

 

5th Place $100.

 

(Cobia, Snapper, Grouper & Tuna) Heaviest Overall $500 Prize for Heaviest Fish in Each Species.

 

$1,000 will be awarded to the boat that catches the heaviest accumulated weight of all three fish.

 

Donate your eligible fish (KDW) and receive a special raffle ticket for each fish donated. Drawing held at awards party for two $250 prizes. Fish will be sold and the proceeds donated to Hospice.

 

"Catch a Grand Slam" Catch a legal size Dolphin, Wahoo and Kingfish for a chance to win this prize. $1,000 awarded to the boat that catches the heaviest accumulated weight of all three fish.
